This learning paper examines how the five firms that were supported under the first round of the Kenya Catalytic Jobs Fund (KCJF) have collaborated and/or interfaced with the respective industry value chains, the inherent opportunities for further collaboration, and how the KCJF can play a more effective role as an industry facilitator to drive the path to scale. It is generated for the purposes of internal learning, creating shared understanding on the respective industry actors and what requires to be done if the innovations and grow and deliver on the exponential jobs promise.
